Diagnosis
You are trying to calculate the material price. You have specified that an error or warning message is issued in the log for materials with multilevel variances that vary from the comparison price (standard price or V price of the previous period) by more than %. The multilevel variances for the relevant material amount to in currency/valuation . They vary from the specified comparison price by %.
System Response
If the system issues a warning, the material price is calculated and the new price for the material is posted. If the system issues a error message, the material price is not calculated and the new price is not posted.
Procedure
With a warning, check the new price for the material. With an error message, check the posted transactions of the period. Make correction postings for the falsely posted transactions or post a material credit or debit so that the price is not negative. Then, carry out material price determination again.
