Diagnosis
You want to change a real depreciation area into a derived depreciation area. This change is not possible for technical reasons (due to the consistency of the control tables).

Procedure
Correct your entry.
If it is absolutely necessary to change this depreciation area, follow these two steps:
- Delete the depreciation area.
- Create the depreciation area again by making a copy of an appropriate depreciation area.
