Diagnosis
The Social Insurance Number (SIN) that you have specified for the employee in Block 8 of the Record of Employment is 000-000-000. HRSDC, however, will reject any Record of Employment that is submitted via ROE Web using the SIN 000-000-000.
System Response
The ROE Workbench will generate a Record of Employment with the specified SIN, thereby enabling you to view the details of the present ROE, then copy them to a paper version of the form, if desired.
Note, however, that ROE Web will reject the present ROE if you attempt to submit it to HRSDC via the corresponding website.
Procedure
If you still wish to use ROE Web to submit the present ROE, then assign a valid SIN to the specified personnel number. Otherwise, submit a paper version of the form - either by using the ROE Workbench in conjunction with ROE Laser Print, or by copying the details of the present ROE onto a paper Record of Employment form issued by HRSDC.
