Set this indicator, if you want to be able to enter accompanying value adjustments for acquisition postings with this transaction type, in addition to the acquisition and production costs.

This is especially useful for acquisitions of assets from affiliated companies. Please note, however, that you cannot specify a sending or receiving company when the indicator is set.
