Definition

This indicator is only significant for manual intercompany asset transfers.

When it is set together with the indicator "posting with affiliated company," this indicator has the following affects:

• When you post, the system automatically changes the retirement or acquisition transaction type to a transfer transaction type.
• When you enter an acquisition, you can also enter proportional value adjustments.

Both of these apply only in depreciation areas in which the indicator "gross transfer" has been set in their definition.

If the indicator "posting without affiliated company" is set in the transaction type, you can enter proportional value adjustments for all depreciation areas (regardless of whether the "gross transfer" indicator is set in the definition of the depreciation area).
