Definition
Causes two additional postings to be created for payment with bills of exchange payable:
- a posting to a bill liabilities account at the bank which is to redeem the bill of exchange
- a clearing entry.
Use
Information on the amount and time of the expected debit of the bank account can be passed on to cash management and forecast through additional posting of note liability at the bank.
