Procedure
Enter the upper limit value of an interval.
You can enter a generic value in the form <value>*.

Single value or lower limit of an interval
Procedure
Specifying values:
- Lower limit of an interval: Specify the lowest possible value.
- Generic specification: Enter a character string that ends with *. All values are allowed that begin with this character string.
- Single values: Enter single values in the "From" column.
- All values: Enter *. An entry in the "To" column is not required.
Examples:
Input Permitted values
AAAA* All values beginning with

AB - C* All values beginning with
AB, B or C

To exclude a value from the interval specified, define separate intervals with the permitted values.
Example: To allow all values except S* values, specify the intervals 0 to R* and T to Z*. (In EBCDIC systems, A to R* and T bis 9*.)
