Type of authorization:
Authorizations can be manually maintained (usually displayed in lists using plain text) and generated (usually highlighted with black background 680 in lists). Generated authorizations are generated using the Profile Generator and cannot be manually maintained in authorization maintenance (Transaction SU03).

Use
Use this check box to indicate that the list of authorization profiles the system produces should only include composite authorization profiles. Composite profiles are made up of simple and/or composite profiles, that have been grouped together.
To include only composite authorization profiles:
- click on the check box so that it is marked
To view single and composite profiles, leave both check boxes blank.

Use
Use this check box to indicate that the list of authorization profiles the system produces should only include single authorization profiles. Single authorizations consist of a list of individual authorizations, for example, access to payroll data, access to personnel, and so on.
To include only single authorization profiles:
- click on the check box so that it is marked
To view single and composite profiles, leave both check boxes blank.
