Definition
Password for user's first logon.
Procedure
In this field, enter a password for the first logon of a new user.
A password:
- Must contain at least three digits, but not more than eight digits (minimum can vary).
- Can contain all keyboard characters including figures, blanks and punctuation signs.
- Must not begin with a question mark "?", exclamation mark "!" or blank. The first three characters must not contain a blank.
- Must not be PASS or SAP*
- Cannot begin with three identical characters.
- Cannot contain a three-digit character string that appears in the user name.
- Is not sensitive to upper/lower case.
This field can only be used for specifying a password for the first logon. To change a password, choose Goto-> Change password.

Use
Password for first logon
Procedure
In this field, enter a password for a new user's first logon.
A password
- must have at least three characters but may not have more than eight characters (miminum value may vary).
- may contain all characters that can be entered, including numbers, blanks, and punctuation marks.
- may not begin with a question mark "?", exclamation mark "!", or space character. A space character cannot be used as one of the first three characters.
- may not be PASS or SAP*.
- may not begin with three identical characters.
- may not contain a three-character string that is also included in the user name.
In this field, you can only enter a password for the first logon. To change a password, select Goto -> Change password.
