Definition

Indicates that when you enter a physical inventory count, the system displays the existing serial numbers in the Maintain serial numbers dialog box.

Use

When you want to enter the inventory count results for a physical inventory, you have to enter the corresponding serial numbers in the Maintain serial numbers dialog box.

To display the serial numbers that are already in the system to help you make your entries, you have to set this indicator. If you set the Freeze book inventory balance indicator when you created the physical inventory document, the system only displays the serial numbers that were frozen at that point in time.

Dependencies

You can exit the dialog box by choosing Continue if the number of serial numbers entered matches the counted quantity.
