Definition
Using this indicator, you specify that the asset being created should be created as a new, independent asset. The asset does not belong to one of the following asset types:
- post-capitalization (that is, the asset should have been created at a much earlier date)
- sub-number to an existing main number
- group asset (used primarily in the U.S.A.)
In general, the asset is either a newly purchased or produced asset.
