Definition

Set this indicator, if you want negative APC and positive depreciation to be allowed for the asset. This might be necessary, for example, for

• investment support, that is managed in the form of a negative asset
• assets under construction, if you need to post a subsequent credit memo to the asset under construction after it has already been completely settled

The indicator is not required, if depreciation below-zero should be calculated for assets in this class.

Note

You are not allowed to set this indicator for depreciation areas, which are defined to manage negative values (such as, depreciation areas for investment support shown on the liabilities side, or areas for transferred reserves).
