Documentation
Definition
Causes the system to run the period closing program without first checking the period to be closed.
Setting this indicator reduces the runtime of the period closing program by approximately 50%.
Use
This indicator has the following effects:
- As with the option Check and close period, if the current period of a material is incorrect, it is not closed.
- If the current period of a material is correct, it is closed.
- The period of a material that has negative stocks in the previous period is closed; that is, if the option Close period only is selected, the system ignores the indicator Allow negative quantities in previous period or Allow negative values in previous period.
Procedure
Examples
Dependencies
The system ignores the maximum number of incorrect material master records that you have set in Material Master Customizing under Make global settings; that is, the program does not terminate if this number is reached.
