Definition
Identification key for a message that has been uploaded from an external product that uses the CCMS XMI interface and associated system management interfaces.
The key is used to display a message in the user's logon language when the XMI session log is displayed within the SAP system or read for display by way of the XMI interface.
The name of the manufacturer, which is automatically inserted in the message table, forms a name space for the messages uploaded from an external product. Within this name space, the key that you supply for each message must be unique.
The SAP system does not attempt to parse or otherwise interpret the message ID. The format of the IDs is therefore entirely up to you.
