Definition

A head office can have been entered in the company code-dependent part of a customer or vendor master record. In this case the account takes on the role of a branch.

The indicator controls whether the head office is to be determined from the master record. If the indicator is

• initial then a possible head office is ignored
• not initial then the account becomes the branch and the head office takes the place of the customer or vendor account which has been transferred.
