Definition

Indicates that the missing parts check function is active at goods receipt.

Use

If this indicator is set, in the case of a goods receipt, other receipts, or transfer posting, the system will check whether the material received is a missing part. If so, the system issues a warning and simultaneously sends a mail message to the MRP controller. concerned.

Dependencies

• To activate the missing parts check function, it is also necessary to assign a checking rule to the transaction.
• A mail message will only be sent if both the missing parts check and output determination functions have been set accordingly in the Customizing for Inventory Management.
