Definition

An asset history sheet version can be called "complete" when every transaction amount (and, if there are any, every proportional value adjustment) has been assigned to at least one position in the history sheet. Transactions relevant to the asset history sheet are

  • Acquisition and production costs
  • Down payments
  • Investment subsidies
  • Write-ups

An asset history sheet version is complete at the point when:

  • Every transaction type that is relevant to the asset history sheet has been assigned to a history sheet group.
  • The assignment indicators are set (contain either an X or a period) in columns 1 to 5 in the position detail screen of the definition of the asset history sheet version. This applies to all history sheet groups except "YA", "YY", and "YZ".

When the history sheet version is complete, the indicator for completeness automatically appears in the screen for the overview of asset history sheet positions.

When creating an asset history sheet, it is noted in the header of every page whether the asset history sheet version being used is a complete or an incomplete version.

When maintaining the asset history sheet version in Asset Customizing, you can request a log of the check for completion. If the history sheet version is not complete, the log then shows the reason.
