Definition

This indicator specifies whether keys of f.s items are assigned manually or automatically when the financial statement versions are defined.

Use

  • Automatic assignment
    If the keys are assigned automatically, the system assigns them in ascending order beginning with 1.
    If automatic allocation has been configured, the keys are suppressed from display in both maintenance and display modes. You can, however, display them via the menu path Settings -> Display.
  • Manual assignment
    If the keys are assigned manually, you must enter a key yourself when creating an item. This key must be different from all other keys in the financial statement version.

Note

You should set automatic assignment as a default. Only set the keys manually if you want to enter an explanatory text for them.
