Definition

Set this indicator when you want the planned depreciation for the year to be divided unevenly among the individual periods of the fiscal year.

In this way, it is possible, for example, to distribute depreciation according to the number of weeks or workdays per period. This distribution has an effect on the periodic posting of depreciation, as well as on the determination of proportional values for retirements and transfers. You allocate these weighting factors to the posting periods in a separate Customizing activity (FI-AA Customizing: "Define weighting of periods).
