Definition

Standardized identifier for own company. The organization that issues the identification schema is contained in code list DE 3055.

Use

This data element is required, together with data element StandardPartyAgencyID, in order to determine, in inbound or outbound invoice processing, whether the invoicing party or invoice recipient is your own company or if it is a different business partner.

Dependencies

Instead of StandardPartyID and StandardPartyAgencyID, you can also use data element InternalPartyID to identify your own company.

Example

The ILN (International Location Number) and the GLN (Global Location Number) are issued by the standardization organization GS1. This organization has the value '9' in code list DE 3055.
