Definition

Materials with which you can enter sales on higher material group hierarchy levels. The sales are only recorded on a value basis.

Use

You can assign exactly one value-only material to each material group hierarchy level. In the POS, they represent the level of sales on a value basis. You should consider this option if you cannot or should not sell on a material basis or a material group basis (material group material) in the POS system. You should also assign the hierarchy material in the store master by assigning a material group so that you can sell on this material group hierarchy level.

Dependencies

If a hierarchy material is already assigned to a hierarchy level, it can no longer be changed.
