0DEFINITION&
The grouping characteristic for the items in the physical inventory document. Physical inventory documents can be created in which all items in the document have a common characteristic.
Use
The field is only relevant during POS - interface outbound processing of the physical inventory documents. During POS - interface inbound processing of the count data, the field is not analyzed.
Example
The materials for every item in a document belong to material group '001'. The grouping characteristic stored in the document header then has the value '001'.
Dependencies
The grouping type is transferred to a further field in the intermediate document. The grouping type specifies the significance of the field content.
