Definition
The type of grouping characteristic for the inventory document items. Physical inventory documents can be created in which all items in the document have a common characteristic. The field determines which characteristic this is.
Use
The field is only relevant in POS - interface outbound processing of the physical inventory documents from the R/3 System to the store. During POS - interface inbound processing of the actual count dates, the field is not evaluated.
Example
One of the characteristics for this indicator specifies that the materials of all items in a physical inventory document shoud belong to the same material group.
Dependencies
The values that this field may contain are defined as fixed values for the domain KEORD.
The order characteristic itself is transferred to a further field in the intermediate document.
