Definition
A group of sales staff who are responsible for processing the sales and distribution of certain products or services.
Use
Using sales groups, you can represent different areas of responsibility within a sales office. If you want to create sales statistics, you can use the sales group as a selection criterion.
In the IDoc you can optionally fill this field for sales orders.
Example
If the employees of a sales office supervise both retail markets and wholesale markets, you can assign a sales group to each market.
Procedure
You can assign each salesperson to a sales group using its user master record . You can assign customers to a sales group using the customer master record.
