Definition
The delivery priority that is assigned to an item.
Use
You can assign a delivery priority either to a certain customer or a combination of customer and material. When processing deliveries in collective processing, you can use the delivery priority as a selection criterion.
Procedure
In SD Customizing you can define delivery priorities according to the requirements of your company. In sales order processing, the system defaults the delivery priority either from the
- customer master record or from the
- customer material information.
If both master records exist, the system defaults the delivery priority from the customer-material info record. You can change the default value at line item level.
