Definition

Number for identifying a sales promotion for which procurement should be carried out.

Use

You can enter which sales promotion the item belongs to for each item of a purchasing document.

Depending on your system settings, when you enter a promotion number, specific prices and conditions are referred to that are maintained for this sales promotion in the system IS-R (retail).

You also have the option of selectively creating purchasing documents for a certain sales promotion using this field, that is, you can, for example, create a purchase order that contains only those items which should be procured for a sales promotion.
