Definition
ISO code for units of measurement that the quantity of stock counted refers to.
Use
The field is optional, but in the case of a counting item, an entry should be provided for the material to enable the quantity to be identified precisely. This field does not need a counting item for the EAN because the EAN specifies the unit of measurement.
The units of measurement with the corresponding ISO codes are maintained in Customizing under check units of measurement.
If no unit of measurement is entered, the system searches for the corresponding base unit of measure of the material.

PCE = piece (SAP: ST)
Dependencies
The possible units of measurement for a material are defined in the material master record maintenance.
