Use

The partner is usually the claimant in the claim header. The claimant can be a dealer, a wholesaler, a distribution centre or an end customer.

Use

In the entries for thew version, the partner is always the business partner that has been entered in the category.

Accounting documents are created for this partner.

The system determines the partner role from the Customizing settings for the claim type and checks the entries for the partner number.

Example

• In the categories versions from reimburser and versions to reimburser, the partner is the reimburser (manufacturer, supplier, distribution centre). The default value for the partner comes from Customizing for the warranty claim type.
• In the categories versions from claimant and versions to claimant the partner is the claimant (dealer, wholesaler,distribution centre, end customer).
