Documentation
Definition
Key for the status that a warranty claim has reached in the business process. The processing status is the result of an action.
Under Action Control in Customizing you can define which actions are allowed at which point in the process and also the new processing statuses that result from the actions.
Supplementary Documentation - WTY_ASTATE0001
Use
The start processing status is the processing status that a claim receives when it is created. THis processing status is independent of the start category.
The processing status versions from reimburser is the processingstatus that a clain receives if (usually via EDI) the first version of category versions from reimburser arrives in the claim processor's system. It is important to define a processing status specific to this category since the transfer of the claim via EDI is not linked to an action and the claim is therefore not set to a new processing status by an action. The new processing status is required, however, so that the arrival of a claim of this category can be detected by automatic processing.
Dependencies
You define the processing statuses in Customizing for Warranty Claim Processing under Control Data --> Process Control --> Define Processing Statuses.
