Definition

Maximum period allowed for sales prices created in SAP Retail Store in days.

Use

Enter the maximum period for which a sales price entered in the store is to be valid for. The system then ensures that sales prices can only be maintained in SAP Retail Store that are valid for the period defined here.

Enter the value "0" if you do not want to specify a maximum validity period. The system then proposes the day after the current day as the "Valid from" date and "31.12.9999" as the "Valid-to" date.

Example

You enter the value "7". If the store associate wants to change the price of a material on July 1, the earliest possible valid-from date he/she can enter is July 2, (regardless of the "Maximum period" setting). Regardless of the "Valid from" date entered, the maximum possible "Valid-to" date is July 8, because the maximum validity period of 7 days has then been reached.
