Definition
Defines a grouping of plants that are in a relationship with a specific plant. Examples of related plant groupings are close-by plants, or plants in the same region of the specific plant.
Use
Related plants are used to show information related to these plants that is relevant for the specific plant.
Dependencies
Close-By Plants can be assigned to a specified plant using the Close-By Plant function (transaction WSD_CBP).
Example
The Enhanced Material Search and Material View functions allow you to view the overall stock availability of a requested material in plants related to the own plant.
