Definition

Additional plants entered manually will be considered for filtering search results in the Enhanced Material Search transaction.

Use

Additional plants are used in two ways:

• The system usually checks the existence of material plant data for the additional plants by way of the Enhanced Material Search function
• The system displays pricing information and stock availability for additional plants referenced by the determined search results (materials)

Additional plants also affects the sequence of plants displayed in the detail view for a search result, as they are ranked higher as the plant group selected in the related plants.

Dependencies

Plant-specific material searches work in conjunction with the Related Plants and Search without Plant Filter fields.

Example

When entering multiple plant numbers, separate them either by a space, a comma or both. You can use an asterisk (*) as part of plant number to indicate a range.

Entries can look like:

• 0001
• 0001 0002
• 0001,0002
• 0001, ABC*
• *23*
