Documentation
Definition
The Related Plants dropdown box is used to display a preconfigured set of plants and availability information for the Enhanced Material Search function.
The assignment of close-by plants is done manually in the Close-By Plants application (transaction WSD_CBP).
Use
Selecting one of the values in the dropdown box adds an appropriate list of plants to the Plant Filter and Availability section of the Enhanced Material Search user interface, regardless of whether there are entries in the Additional Plants field. This means that the search performs a lookup for materials maintained for plants from the Additional Plants field as well as for plants within the range based on the selection in this dropdown control.
Selecting one of these values also affects the way materials are displayed. The dropdown value determines what plants are listed in the details area, and availability information as well as prices are determined for these plants.
Dependencies
System performance might be slowed based on the wider the range of plants selected.
