This data element is obsolete and should no longer be used as of Release 4.6A. The data element WRKST should be used instead. The field length has been extended for the domain WRKST.

When you maintain a material master record, any basic material that you specify on the Basic Data screen in the standard R/3 System is checked against a table of basic materials that you can specify in Customizing.
