Definition
Number uniquely identifying a plant group as a class in the Classification System. Plant groups are defined using class types 030 (plants) and 035 (plant hierarchies). A plant group can be assigned individual plants and also other plant groups.
Use
Plant groups are used in SAP Retail to simplify or speed up processes at plant level. No data is retained at plant group level.
