Definition

You use this indicator to control how the system behaves, according to the following options, if no valid dateline can be created using the seasonal scheduling with the specified appointments - the order date (latest possible generation data) lies in the past.

0 New Scheduling Current Date = Latest Possible Generation Date - If this option is selected, the earliest possible delivery date/time is determined, starting from the current date (forward scheduling). The order date and the delivery date are updated in the dateline and in the corresponding delivery phase.

1 Apply Scheduling - Manually Adjust Dateline - If this option is selected, the dateline is calculated and applied taking the delivery date/time (goods receipt date) as the starting point. The order date lies in the past. To be able to generate a purchase order from the allocation table, it is therefore necessary to manually adjust the dateline (allocation table dialog detail screen distribution center or recipient).

Use

If neither of these two options is specified, the system proceeds in accordance with option 1 Apply Scheduling - Manually Adjust Dateline.

If an allocation table is generated from another application, the delivery date is not adjusted. The system proceeds in accordance with option 1.

For more information about seasonal scheduling in the allocation table, see the application help under SAP Retail-> Merchandise Logistics -> Merchandise Distribution -> Stock Allocation -> Stock Allocation: Allocation Table -> Stock Allocation: Check and Enhance the Data -> Stock Allocation: Scheduling in the Allocation Table.

Dependencies

The settings are only valid for vendor orders.
