Definition
Attribute in the material hierarchy that you can use to define language-dependent, level-specific name (semantics).
Use
You can define separate semantics for each level and thus for each node in this level. The relationship between the semantics and the node is established through the hierarchy level. When you reassign a node between levels, the semantics of that node change automatically.
You can define the tree level in the Reference Determination Schema. This definition has effect only if you define the Reference Determination Type '02' - Article hierarchy in that schema. In this case the system determines the main assignment of the material in the article hierarchy with that tree level and reads all materials which are assigned to this hierarchy node. These materials will be assigned as references during the automatic assignemt of references, if they are suitable.
