Definition
The reference determination type controls which references will be assigned to a material/plant combination during automatic assignment of references.
Use
You define the reference determination type in a reference determination schema.
During automatic assignment of references, the system analyzes the reference determination type and determines the references according to this type.
When you manually create an assignment of references via dialog program, you can also display the references based on the reference determination type.
Dependencies
Example
Assume that you define a reference determination schema with reference determination type 01 - Material Group. When the system automatically assigns references to a material/plant combination to which this schema is assigned, the system determines all materials of the material group (for the specified material) and assigns them, if they are suitable for references.
