Definition

Right-justified number with enough leading zeros to make it as long as the final number.

Use

The rollback counter goes through all of the values from the start number up until the final number. Each time, a copy of all items entered is created. The status of the rollback counter depends on the object number ( for example the material number ) if the " Append numbering " indicator is set.

All data corresponding to the repeated items is also copied.

• Entry in field number: MATERIAL-
• Start number for the above: 100
• Final number for the above: 1000

901 items, which are filled with values of MATERIAL-0100 to MATERIAL-1000 in the number field, are created.
