The field is only used in connection with the selection date entry.
Example
1. Query determines values on periodicity date
Selection date: 1.1.2000 to 01.12.2000 corresponds to 12 days
Period of supply: 3 weeks corresponds to 21 days
Factor for the additional quantity calculation: 21/12 = 1.75
Quantity determined for selection period: 1200 CAR
Calculation: 1200 * 1.75
Calculated quantity for period of supply: 2100 CAR
2. Query determines values on periodicity week
Selection date: 1.1.2001 to 01.10.2001 *
Period of supply: 3 weeks corresponds to 21 days
Factor for additional quantity calculation: 21/10 = 2.1
Determined quantity for selection period: 1200 CAR
Calculation: 1200 * 2.1
Calculated quantity for period of supply: 2520 CAR
* Corresponds to 2 weeks (calendar weeks 1 and 2 in the year 2001) for the determination of SAP BW data. The number of days is taken from the date selection for calculating the supply quantities.
