Definition

Unit of Measure (UoM) of item assignments. This UoM corresponds to he base UoM of the material assigned to the item.

Use

Commodity items and items of logistic documents can have different units of measure. If an assignment is created between a commodity item and an item of a logistic document, then both must have the same base UoM. This base UoM is used as a UoM in the assignment.
