Documentation
Definition
Here the user specifies how many times a process is to be placed in the queue after a processing error.
A processing error can occur, for example, when a process which
- is currently locked
- has not been updated
- could not be sent
is to be processed in a queue.
After the maximum number of attempts have been made, the process is removed from the queue. A message about the error is sent to the person responsible for the queue. The person responsible for the queue is the user who last started the queue via the menu Job admin. --> Start.
