Definition

The rule can be executed if the current process state corresponds to the state selected here.

In rule maintenance, you enter the name of the state in which the action is to be executed.

Implicit states

The system knows two specific states

1. &START

   If a process is generated (WF_PROCESS_INSERT) and a start status is not specified, the status '&START' is selected implicitly.

2. &FINISH

   The state &FINISH is the target end state of a process.

   Processing is continued until this state is reached.

   Processing is not possible in the state '&FINISH'. When the state
   '&FINISH' is reached, no more rules are executed, even if they would fulfill the condition.
