Definition

The material type WETT stands for competitive products.

Competitive products have their own material master records, which are created in the Engineering/Design view. The number which is stored in the material master record is the means by which the product is uniquely assigned to the competitor.

In this texts on the material, you can store document product features, typical customer inquries about the product, and other customer-specific information. The allocation of your own company's products, and also those of competitors, to product groups allows a comparison of the products at different hierarchical levels.
