Here, you define the plant for which process messages are to be selected.

The way in which the value entered is interpreted (for example, as a single value or as an interval limit) depends on

  • whether you maintain the field only in the left column or also in the right
  • which selection option you choose for the value

Enter the plant in which the routing is to be valid.

Examples

Dependencies

The system copies the plant to the operations as a default value. If the operations are to be performed in another plant, you can change the default value in the operation.

Note
All plants in a routing must belong to the same company code.

Supplementary Documentation - WERKS_D 0701

Use

Procedure

Enter the plant in which the operation is to be performed.

Examples

Dependencies

The system proposes the plant (default value) from the header data in the routing. If the operations are to be performed in another plant, you can change this default value in the operation.

The Plant field contains a 4-digit code that represents a plant, branch or operating unit within a company.

This field is optional. Plant information is for reference purposes only, and you do not have to provide it.

Procedure

In CREATE mode, use this field to identify the plant where the organizational unit you are working with belongs. To do so either:

  • type in the appropriate 4-digit code, or
  • request a list of plant codes and make a selection by either:
    . pressing F4, or
. clicking on the down arrow

In CHANGE mode, enter a different plant code by typing over the existing one, or by requesting a list using the methods outlined above.
