Documentation

Definition

Indicates how many GR/GI slips are to be printed for this material document item.

Use

If a standard quantity per pallet is defined in the field Quantity GR slips in the material master record (warehouse/storage data), when goods are received for a purchase order, the system suggests the number of GR/GI slips to be printed as quotient of the goods receipt quantity and the quantity defined there, rounded up to the next highest number.

If no quantity is defined in the material master record, the system suggests that a GR slip be printed for this item.

If you do not want to print a GR slip for this item, overwrite the default value with BLANK or ZERO.

If you have entered the number of GR slips manually, the system does not determine a new default in case you want to change the goods receipt quantity later.

Dependencies

If the GR quantity is changed (e.g. partial delivery) the automatically suggested number of GR/GI slips is adjusted to the new GR quantity.

On the initial screen for the transaction, you must have set the version print indicator 1 (individual slip) or 2 (individual slip with inspection text). For collective slips (print version 3), the entry in this field is ignored. Furthermore, the multiple print function must be activated for the printer in Customizing for Inventory Management.
