Definition
Quantity available for sale, after taking all warehouse issues and receipts into account. This quantity is described as the unrestricted quantity or as the ATP (available to promise). It can also be negative.
Use
During an availability check, the system determines the ATP quantity for each material in each plant. This quantity is the basis for confirming new sales order items.
