Documentation
Definition
Indicates who may order the material, and in what way.
Use
It can mean the following:
- Ordering autonomy for head office only (purchasing organization)
- Ordering autonomy is at distribution center level
- Ordering autonomy is at store level
- Open
If ordering autonomy is defined for lower levels, their specifications are subordinate to those already defined for higher levels.
- On the basic data screen: Ordering autonomy at head office level
- In Logistics, DC: Applies to the distribution center
- In Logistics, store: Applies only to stores
In SAP Retail, ordering autonomy resides with a purchasing group which you define; for example "DC" for distribution center level, "STR" for store level, and so on. The "buyers" in this group then have the authorization to generate purchase orders.
