Documentation
Definition
Defines the sequence in which billing orders in installation groups are billed.
Use
This control is only used for installation groups with distribution. These installation groups enable data to be exchanged between a primary installation and secondary installations. First of all, the primary installation is billed for a particular billing period. Then, information for the distribution-relevant, secondary installations is made available in the billing document of the primary installation. Once this has been done, the secondary installations can be billed.
Dependencies
Example
Example:
- You create a primary installation with a grouping type that contains a distribution type.
- You then create secondary installations with installation roles defined as distribution-relevant.
- You generate billing orders for the primary and secondary installations.
- In the primary installation billing order, the billing sequence control is set to ' 'Order Can Be Billed.
- In the distribution-relevant secondary installations, the billing sequence control in the billing orders is set to 1 Order Cannot Be Billed, Not Activated.
- You then bill the primary installation. When you do this, the billing sequence control in the secondary installation billing orders is set to 0 Order Can Be Billed After Activation. The secondary installations can now be billed.
Further comments:
- In installations that do not belong to an installation group, the billing sequence control is always set to the initial value ' ' Order Can Be Billed. This is also the case for primary and secondary installations with roles that are not defined as distribution-relevant.
- If you execute a move-out for a distribution-relevant, secondary installation, the system generates a final billing order. The billing sequence control in this final billing order is maintained in connection with the indicator Immediate Final Billing. You can maintain this indicator when you define installation roles for the grouping type.
