Definition
Rule that determines how a change made to the corrected sales quantity (cumulated for all the plants) of a particular material in the basic list of the market-basket price calculation function should be transferred to the corrected sales quantities of the individual plants (see example).
There are two possibilities:
01: Equal allocation
02: Proportional allocation
Example
A market-basket price calculation is performed for a material and three plants, "F001" to "F003". The corrected sales quantities for the three plants are as follows:
F001: 100 units
F002: 200 units
F003: 300 units
The cumulated corrected sales quantity is therefore 600 units. You change this quantity in the basic list to 1200 units, giving you a difference of 600 units.
Rule 01 distributes the difference quantity equally among the three plants (600 units:3 = 200 units).
Result after distribution:
F001: 300 units
F002: 400 units
F003: 500 units
Rule 02 shows the relationship between the corrected sales quantity of a plant and the cumulated corrected sales quantity. Plant "F001" receives an additional (100:600)*600 = 100 units.
Result after allocation:
F001: 200 units
F002: 400 units
F003: 600 units
